Palm Beach SLSC is hosting a facilitated first aid course on the 29th of November (day of Captains' Keg!), open to patrolling members only. If you are a probationary member (fresher), please enrol on one of the other First Aid Courses as they are integrated into your Bronze Medallion course.

This course will run from 9 am to 5 pm in the main room of the Surf Life Saving Club and will cover: 

Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009), Basic Emergency Life Support (HLTAID010), and Provide First Aid (HLTAID011).

First Aid courses typically cost $131, but this course will be run at a reduced rate as it's being delivered by our own Tim Markovitch!

*Please note‚ it is a requirement of this course that a practical demonstration of CPR must be performed on the floor.

Participants must complete the online eLearning assessment 24 hours prior to the training day. eLearning available by navigating to the SLS HUB > Applications > eLearning > Training Library > SLSNSW - Emergency Care > First Aid

All participants must bring the following to the training day:

 - Photo ID
 - Pen and notepaper
Please wear comfortable clothing as some courses may involve performing scenarios on the floor.
