An update from the club's Surfboat Captain, Peter Spence

Australian Surfboat Championships – Alexandra Headlands Beach QLD – Thursday 18^th to Sunday 21^st April, 2024
We had 17 crews race at Aussies in varying conditions from smallish surf to large challenging surf and all our crews did a great job in the different conditions (pleasing to have no broken oars at all, however a small hole in 1 boat from a collision).

Aussies Summary:

We had over 80 Palmy members head up to Qld and with family and friends we had well over 100 people.
17 crews started
6 crews made an Aussie Final
