Course Description:
| Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation - HLTAID001 |
| Provide advanced resuscitation - HLTAID007 |
*Please note, it is a requirement of this course that practical demonstrations must be performed on the floor.

| PRE-COURSE WORK: | *Full Course Participants (Participants that have not completed the course within the last 15 months): Question and answer workbook to be completed prior to the training day. *Update Course Participants (Participants that have completed the course within the last 15 months): Do not need to complete the workbook prior to the training day. Update course participants just need to bring a copy of their last HLTAID007 certificate to the training day. |

Certificates
Surf Life Saving NSW is committed to supporting Environmental Sustainability and we have elected to issue electronic certificates instead of hard copy certificates.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- All participants must bring ID (Passport, Drivers License, Proof of Age Card or Birth Certificate).
- All participants must bring a pen and paper
- All participants must bring their Unique Student Identifier (USI) to the course
- Prior to training course participants should familiarise themselves with the Academy Course Participant Handbook which includes the Participant Code of Conduct and information about the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). ** IMPORTANT PRE-COURSE REQUIREMENT– Unique Student Identifier (USI) **
Surf Life Saving NSW cannot issue participants with a Nationally Recognised VET qualification or Statement of Attainment when they complete the course if they do not have a Unique Student Identifier (USI).
Please ensure that all participants bring their USI to the course as they will need to include this on their Training Enrolment Form.
If participants do not yet have a USI, they can apply for one directly at http://www.usi.gov.au/create-your-usi/ from a computer or mobile device. Forgotten USI’s can also be retrieved from this webpage.
